New discussion forum

Several people have suggested that I set up a discussion forum where we can all chat about stuff so I've set up a temporary one on one of the free forum hosting sites which will do the job for now and serve as a meeting place.

Forum

Be aware that it's obviously not on a secure server or anything so I suggest using proxy's if you most anything of a sensitive nature.

Scammable.com denies association with CA

Only a few hours after writing the post below do I see that scammable.com has now added a notice on their site :

To All Members

We will shortly be back online!

We have had a number of emails from members about whether we are associated with ConfidentialAccess..
For the record, this site has no association whatsoever with ConfidentialAccess

In addition, we are not interested in members who are lurkers who just take and never contibute. Bearing in mind:

1) We have nothing to sell
2) We do not charge a monthly subscription fee

Just like our welcoming email said, no community ever flourished with lurkers sitting in the cheap back seats.

Thanks to all our members for their support.

Regards

Scammable.com Team

Well, well. So if they are nothing to do with CA then where did they get my email address from that I have only ever used to register on the CA forums and has never been given out publicly?

It's all bullshit! They are either being run by CA or being run by the feds, period.

So.. is this the end of confidentialaccess.com?

So 3 months have gone by since the alleged Hong Kong "raid" and still no signs of anything happening on the restructure of CA. All we have is a non-descript "we are restructuring and will be back" message on the site which has now been there for 3 months. Considering the fact that CA were looking for buyers for the site only 2 months previous to this one could be forgiven for thinking that they'll decided to call it a day and it's also a handy excuse to do a runner with the punters' money who still have orders outstanding for like the past 10 years or whatever the current backlog is..

As mentioned in the comments of the previous post, they did appear to resurface at one point. On 11 January I received an email from "Scammable Com" (scammable_com@yahoo.com) :

Now this was quite interesting simply because the only place where I'd used the email address where this mail was received, was at CA. Therefore this email had to have come from someone who has admin access to the CA forum member list because my email address was not publicly available. Now the only 2 "bodies" that have access to that info are CA themselves and the cops who confiscated the servers. According to CA our personal info was always safe and their servers were using the latest blah-blah encryption and we had nothing to worry about etc but if that is the case then why has there been NO announcement of "their" new forum mentioned anywhere on the CA home page? Strange indeed! This leads me to believe that scammable.com is a sting site set up by the cops who confiscated the equipment.

Further evidence (of sorts) can also be found here : CA have nothing to do with scammable.com

Caxess replies:

This is absolute Bullshit, CA have nothing to do with scammable.com.

Currently CA are awaiting a legal decision before re launching services.

A legal decision on what, exactly? Do they really think that they can somehow convince the authorities that what they do is completely legal and the authorities will say "oh ok then" and hand them all their stuff back? Seems so.. I think they need to wake the fuck up and get real. When authorities send a team of boys over to the other side of the world to confiscate a load of hardware to bring you down then no amount of quoting the law book at them will make an iota of difference.

They should just admit defeat to get them off their back and then just register a new domain and start over, but not put all their eggs in one basket this time. In my opinion if they really wanted to continue they would have set up a new site by now and have been back in business. If your income stream is $200k per month (like they claimed on that website sale site) then you don't sit on your arse waiting for "legal decisions".

Looking at the visitor stats for this blog it seems like quite a number of people are now aware of it so any thoughts on me getting a new discussion forum set up for us all? I reckon that a lot of us already had our own sources for DLs, bank statements, utils, Tax Codings etc prior to joining CA so if we all club together with what we can offer each other we can get back in the business of making money? I have a contact that can do top quality old style UK DL photocards with the DVLA pearl-EX overlay but haven't mastered doing the UV Crown imagery on them yet (they work fine for Abbey apps as they only require a photocopy) and I can do 2008-9 Tax Codings, A&L statements and Barclays statements all myself. What about you guys?

Pickles is the latest one to throw all the toys out

Oh dear, not this shit again...

GROW UP FFS! What is it with you guys, acting like babies?? Okay, galinya went a bit OTT with his tongue in cheek posts and one post would've easily sufficed but there really was no need to throw all the toys out over it and end with the most immature comment ever: "this is my last post ever on these forums". I thought that only 2 year olds did that?

First it was dagsyk who did this, then it was er, dagsyk again, then it was umm, oh dagsyk again, then someone said something blackhawk didn't like and he said he was never gonna post again and now Pickles.

I like Pickles because of his very inventive ways of doing things which are always "outside of the box". I also like blackhawk's posts because they're always 18 pages long and make for excellent bedtime reading, so come on guys, get a grip and keep us entertained with your posts and stop being so sensitive!

Blkstk seems to have a short memory

Probably the most annoying person on the whole of the forums is a member called blkstk - someone who I have commented on before because of his sharp-tongued ways of scoffing at newbies when he himself has only been there 9 months.

He seems to have a short memory though and made a major goof a few days ago that no-one seems to have picked up upon (and I doubt don't even care) but the guy is an arrogant wanker and I love to take people like him apart at any possible opportunity.

So he joined CA on 22 Nov 2007 and pretty much didn't post anything til 22 Feb 2008 when he made the following introductory post, and I quote :

"Hi am newish here, and am wanting to experience CA to the full. I am excitied to get started and hopefully become a useful member of the community.

I have lots of overseas Paypal & eBay experience and know lots of ways in & around alot of their pitfalls

I want to learn how to take my Paypal experience and marry it with UK banking for a more profitable future."

Clearly from what he's said the guy is a newbie and doesn't have a clue about anything other than some knowledge on Paypal and Ebay.

A few months later he suddenly shows up with Mod status and generally starts throwing his weight about and then on 3 Sep 2008 he writes this :

"When I was a member in 2004 and 2005 the sort of post feeds I see flashing on the CA homepage at the bottom from the VIP room are the sort of posts that used to be standard in the forums. The posts on the standard forums these days are 99% useless trash(unless you are a newbie). For someone like me who has been around about 4yrs the standard forums are useless and not worth the £10 a month"

Hang on, what's that noise I hear? Oh that'll be the bullshit detector going off...

Ordering from CA - the truth

So you've stumbled across confidentialaccess.com and seen something you like but are wondering if it's just another scam site?

Well, as much as I hate the guys that run it with a passion, I'd be lying if I said that it was a scam site. They are real and do deliver, but there are a few things you should be aware of before sending off your cash...

1. If you want your order like tomorrow, forget it.
2. If you want your order within a months time, forget it.
3. If you want your order within 2 months time, forget it.
4. If you want your order within 3 months time then you need to place it now and cross your fingers.

Yes, I'm afraid it's true. Do not believe for one minute the claims on the homepage that state "next day delivery" because it's complete and utter bullshit.

The earliest I've had an order delivered since ordering has been just under 2 months; the longest being just under 5 months but the site status was on red at that time.

And some more advice, do not dare to question where your order is on the forums because that's like pressing a button for them to throw all their toys out of their pram, plaster your name, address and order details all over the forum and generally bad mouth you beyond belief. Okay that's not happened for a while, but it has happened and on more than one occasion.

And here's some more advice.. do not bother PMing CA Management to ask where your order is because it will be ignored. Do not bother emailing CA Management to ask where order is because that will be ignored too and do not bother contacting "Live Help" to ask where your order is either because they'll just tell you to PM or email CA Management .......

Honestly, it's a fucking joke and it winds me up no end. I've no problem with orders taking months to arrive on my doorstep but is it really too much to ask to be kept abreast of its progress? How difficult is it FFS? I mean, we're not talking about orders of a couple of quid here, the average order is probably several hundred quid and when you're shelling out that kind of cash you want some reassurances.

That said, the document quality is first class and even my keen eyes can't find fault with them. However, it's worth mentioning that their CMail service, anonymous browsing, firewall, anonymous text, anonymous email, telephone proxy and virtual employment services all DO NOT work so do not order them because you'll be throwing your money down the drain.

It's also worth mentioning that the GPS jammer they advertise on the homepage for £299 can be bought directly from China for just over £100 and it's the exact same one. Type in "GPS jammer" into google and the results quickly come up.

READ READ READ !!!

Yawn.....

Without a doubt this has become the biggest downfall of the forums. No, not the newbies, but the long-standing (and not so long-standing) members that continually whinge about it.

If those same members put the same amount of effort into creating a comprehensive list of FAQ links as they do whinging about newbies not reading the old posts then there simply would be no issue. And it's always the same ones moaning too - dagsyk, blkstk, swedrock, kooruno, from_da_streets and it pisses me off reading it more than it does the newbie asking the questions in the first place. I mean how difficult is it to simply ignore the post if you're not going to bother helping the guy/gal?

I think the above offender's forget that they were newbies once and looking back at their first posts I don't see any of their senior members telling them to read read read. In fact, swedrock and blkstk in particular both asked their fair share of "basic" questions that could've been easily answered if they had read the old posts but no-one got shitty with them for asking them so I think it's well out of order that they treat newbies the way they do. Furthermore, swedrock contacted me several times via PM asking for my help and guidance over "basics" for which answers could've been found in the old posts but I never once told him to go away and do some research of his own.

It seems that certain members have developed extremely large chips on their shoulders and go about the forums like they own them, scoffing at anyone that dares to speak if they either a) have less posts than them or b) have been a member for a shorter time than them. It sucks big style and that is the real reason why the forums have gone to shit.

I don't see this ever changing though and as time goes on it'll only get worse to the point where the forum will just be full of bitching and no useful posts.

*SIGH*
